I don't usually go into much detail on my warm-up and stretching routine, because it's just that, routine. However, I usually try to stretch and warm-up for a good 10 to 15 minutes before starting my workout. This is especially important when you workout first thing in the morning and your muscles are just waking up. I start with stretching my back with bar twists (illustration here), foam rolling my back and legs, kettle bell swings with light weights, basic leg stretches, and mountain climbers (shown below). Regardless which movements you choose, make sure your muscles are good and warm before you engage in any heavy lifting.

I finished the workout with three 100 yard trips on the Prowler with 50 lbs.
We are slowly recovering from the weekend and getting back to normal around here.
