We all need a little motivation from time to time - motivation to work smarter, motivation to exercise harder, motivation to eat healthier, motivation to live a better life in general. When it comes to working out, I pull motivation from every available medium, including blogs, magazines, the internet, instagram, friends, random strangers on the street, and of course, my handsome fiance. There is no such thing as over-motivation.
One of my favorite sources of inspiration for fitness is Pinterest. I have found everything from complete workout plans to squat challenges to motivational pictures and quotes on Pinterest, including this gem (which was originally pinned from the amazing Tumblr blog Reasons To Be Fit).
Another daily source of inspiration for me, this lady.
|Check out those guns!|
She wakes up every weekday morning at 5:00 am to work out or run with me, and unlike mine, her schedule does not require it. She does it simply because she wants to workout to remain healthy and fit and to allow us to spend time together. Anytime I feel like pulling the covers back over my head and saying "to hell with it", I remember that she is getting up to meet me and it never fails to motivate me to pull my lazy tail out of bed.
