Vermont Bound

Unfortunately (or fortunately) there is not lot of time for chit chat today. 

This house is preparing for our trip to Vermont - which means lots of laundry, running around the house, packing, loving on King, giving instructions to my mom who is sweet enough to stay here with King while we are away (love you!), cleaning, and last minute travel prep.  Needless to say, it's a mad house around here!

I know one thing for sure - we will miss this face!

I'm hoping I'll find the time tonight and in the morning to post the usual Thursday recipe.  It's a good (and easy) one!  If not, I promise to get it up A-S-A-P.

Today's work out:

1.  Warm up

2.  Sled Drags:  2 trips
      - 70 lbs x 50 yards
      - 90 lbs x 50 yards

Sled Drags with the usual assistance
3.  Ab Circuit:  1 set
      - Weighted Plank 25 lbs x 60 seconds
      - L sit-ups x 15
      - Windmill Circuit 25 lb kettlebell (single arm clean, overhead press, windmill, switch sides) x 6 per side
      - Side bends 50 lbs x 15 per side

Windmill Circuit (or at least part of it)
4.  Ascending Ladder Circuit:  5 sets, Starting with 2 reps and increasing the reps in each set by 2 until you reach 10 reps
      - Deadlift 135 lbs
      - Overhead press 50 lbs
      - Band Assisted Pull-ups


Deadlifts (and a demonstration of King moving into his usual sprawl out)
