Happy Friday!! The combination of my over indulgent girls weekend last weekend and two heavy weight personal records this week have left me drained.  Don't get me wrong, I am super excited about my improvements, it's just that my body feels wrecked.  Drained. Depleted. I need a nap.  Does anyone else think nap time should be implemented in the work place?  Productivity would be through the roof.  Those kindergartners don't realize how good they have it.
 
I digress.  My work out looked like this:

1.  Warm-up

2. Sled drags:
      - 45 lbs x 40 yards
      - 70 lbs x 40 yards
      - 95 lbs x 40 yards

Watching for Pedestrians
3. Ab Circuit: 1 set
      - Ab wheel x 10
      - L sit-ups x 15
      - Side bends 35 lbs x 20

Ab Wheel (aka King's toy)
L Sit-ups
Good for the lower abs
Side Bends (good for the obliques)
4. Deadlifts      - Warm up: 60 lbs x 10
     - Warm up: 80 lbs x 10
     - Warm up: 105 lbs x 10
     - 125 lbs x 10
     - 135 lbs x 8
     - 165 lbs x 5
     - 185 lbs x 2 (Personal Record - beat my 1 rep max, but didn't quite make it to 3)



Deadlifts (good for everything...
but hard as hell)

5.  Prowler:  5 round trips, 40 yards each round trip, 30 lbs

After the deadlifts, the dreaded prowler actually felt good.

Sadly, my rest will not come this weekend.  We are headed off to the Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band Concert in Columbia tomorrow, and will be returning to the beach just in time for a Cinco de Mayo stock the bar party for my sis and her fiance on Sunday.  My plans for the following weekend involve nothing but sleep.  Hope ya'll have a great weekend!!
