We woke up this morning to a pretty impressive thunderstorm raging.  
I would argue that no one should be required to get out of bed in the middle of a thunderstorm, much less to workout at 5:00 am.  Thunderstorms should have the same effect as a snow day in the south in my book.  In other words, schools and businesses should shut down,  people should stay off the roads, and I should be able to stay snuggled up in my bed, if for no other reason than to avoid the masses of people who apparently completely forget how to drive at the first drop of rain.  Immediate road rage trigger.

I did get out of bed, but only because King becomes uber hyper and alert during storms, and thus, began wallowing around on the bed and growling at me to get up.  Sleep was futile at that point.  My work out looked like this:

1. Warm up

2. Ab Circuit: 1 set
      - Plank x 60 seconds
      - L sit ups x 10
      - Side bends 35 lbs x 10 per side
      - Ab wheel x 5
      - Butterfly sit ups x 10
      - Side bends 35 lbs x 10 per side

3.   Squats: 5 sets in 5 minutes, 30 seconds on 30 seconds rest
      -  Squats 85 lbs x 12

Mental Prep
Weak sauce - should have gone deeper.

4. Bench Press and Rows:  10 sets in 10 minutes, 30 seconds on 30 seconds off alternating between bench press and rows
     - Bench Press 60 lbs x 12
     - TRX Rows x 13

5.  Deadlifts: 5 sets in 5 minutes, 30 seconds on 30 seconds rest
      -  Squats 115 lbs x 10

I was fortunate enough to score tickets to the sold out Darius Rucker concert at the House of Blues on Saturday, so our low key weekend just got a lot more exciting.  I am a little obsessed with him.  I will try to get some good pictures of th
e show.  And have no doubt that I will be singing along to Wagon Wheel at the top of my lungs (completely off key and much to the embarrassment of Scott).
