Cucumber Gin Spritzer

Because it's Saturday...

Because it's 79 degrees here in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina...

Because the flowers are blooming (which means the herbs are growing, YAY!)...

Because tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day...

Because everybody (well, everybody but Scott and me its seems) is celebrating St. Patrick's Day today...

Because it's so fresh and so green green (dork, I know)...

Drink this...

Cucumber Gin Spritzer

Ingredients:
1 medium cucumber, sliced
Hendricks Gin
Limes, cut into fourths
Mineral water
Rosemary for garnishing

Directions:
Two Days Before:  Add cucumber slices to a mason jar (or other container with a lid). Fill jar with Hendrick's Gin covering cucumber slices.  Allow gin to infuse for 2 to 3 days, shaking jar 2 to 3 times a day.

Place three or four of the cucumber slices that soaked in the gin and a lime wedge in a double old fashioned glass.  Muddle cucumber and lime.  Fill glass with ice and add 3 oz of cucumber gin (or to taste).  Top the glass off with mineral water, stir and garnish with rosemary sprigs.

Off to hang out with my two favorites...
